Reka Lumina was engaged to deliver a full interior design and renovation scope for Viva Vertical, a specialist aerial and pole fitness studio located in Petaling Jaya. The project involved transforming a raw commercial unit into a high-impact training space that reflects the brand’s bold personality while maintaining functional clarity for active performance. The design approach was inspired by the elegance and energy of vertical movement. The studio features clean lines, industrial frames, high ceilings, and large mirrors that amplify spatial openness and symmetry. A monochromatic palette of black, white, and grey was selected to reflect strength and focus, while custom lighting elements in angular and circular forms echo the aerial apparatuses used in training. Spatial zoning was carefully planned to accommodate pole fitness, aerial silks, and bungee workout areas without visual clutter. Minimalist reception counters, matte flooring, suspended rigs, and high-performance finishes were selected to balance durability with design refinement. The result is a space that feels airy, disciplined, and artistically dynamic. This project is a showcase of how thoughtful design can support physical performance, enhance brand identity, and elevate the user experience within a boutique fitness environment.
